We are pleased to announce an expansion of our imaging and vision portfolio across Northern Europe through our collaboration with Macnica, bringing Sony Semiconductor Solutions’ industry-leading image sensor technology closer to North European customers.
Sony is a global leader in imaging and sensing technology and offers a comprehensive portfolio of high-performance image sensors for industrial and machine vision applications. The portfolio covers technologies ranging from high-speed global shutter and advanced rolling shutter sensors to SWIR, UV, polarization and other specialized sensing solutions.
Sony’s image sensors are designed to address demanding applications where image quality, speed, sensitivity and reliability are essential. This makes the technology highly relevant for applications such as factory automation, automated optical inspection, robotics, measurement systems, logistics, medical imaging and other advanced vision systems.
Combining leading technology with local expertise
Through Macnica’s relationship with Sony, Indesmatech can support North European customers with access to Sony image sensor technologies together with local technical expertise and application support.
The collaboration brings together three important strengths: Sony’s innovation within imaging and sensing, Macnica’s extensive experience with image sensors and imaging solutions, and Indesmatech’s local presence and technical knowledge of the North European market.
Our goal is not simply to provide access to components, but to help customers find the right technology for their specific application – from initial sensor selection and evaluation to the development and integration of a complete imaging solution.
Starting the collaboration at VISION in Stuttgart
As a kickoff to the collaboration, we will join the VISION show in Stuttgart.
VISION brings together the international machine vision industry, making it an ideal place to introduce the expanded offering, meet customers and partners, and discuss new imaging and sensing applications.
We look forward to strengthening our activities within machine vision and advanced imaging and to supporting customers across North Europe with Sony’s image sensor technologies.
