Indesmatech is part of Macnica, a global semiconductor and technology solutions group headquartered in Yokohama, Japan. We still work the way we always have: an engineering-led team close to our customers, supporting them from chip-level technology selection through to system-level implementation. Who is Macnica?

Macnica was founded in Japan in 1972. It has grown into one of the world’s leading companies in semiconductor distribution and engineering services. The parent company, Macnica Holdings, Inc., is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE: 3132) and has annual revenue of around EUR 8.5 billion.

Macnica has never been a pure distributor. Engineering is central to how it works: it combines a broad portfolio of semiconductor suppliers with deep technical support, so customers can take products from concept to commercial production. Besides semiconductors and electronic devices, the group also runs a cybersecurity and IT solutions business.

Macnica ATD Europe

Macnica’s European division is Macnica ATD Europe, with offices in France, Germany and the UK. It specialises in design-in support, advanced technology representation and solutions across IoT, communications, embedded computing, audio and sensing, and power. Its approach is architecture-driven: instead of supplying single components, it helps customers build complete system solutions.

Aligned technology focus. Our focus areas (Wireless IoT and Communications; Embedded Computing, ASIC and Memory; Audio and Sensing) overlap closely with Macnica ATD Europe’s portfolio. This deepens expertise where customers need it most.
